The American Corner Pristina, located in the National and University Library of Kosovo, was opened on November 20, 2003.  The American Corner is a partnership between the Public Affairs Office of the U.S. Embassy in Pristina and the National and University Library of Kosovo.  Membership is free and open to registered users of the National Library.  Our collection includes reference materials, fiction, English language teaching materials, pamplets, periodicals, videos, CDs, and DVDs about the United States and American culture.  Free Internet service is also provided for educational purposes.  The American Corner regularly hosts English language classes and activties promoting American culture. 

There are over 365 American Corners around the world operating in partnership with the U.S. Department of State and local host organizations.
